Everyone loves a good old smoothie when the weather heats up. Turns out, Sydney is already peaking. Early summer, heck yes.
And that means early smoothie season. I love that you can pretty much blend up anything and it is guaranteed to taste great.
But since quitting sugar I’ve been a bit more sceptical of my dear friend. I have had to say goodbye to the cafe smoothie and stick to making my own – don’t want any of that ice cream, syrup, honey, or whatever other sugary delights they have in hiding.
But I have also decided that you can definitely make a better one at home. Homemade is always best. When it comes to anything.
So this is my favourite new recipe for the week – Tahini Coconut Strawberry Smoothie. Who knew tahini would work, but it totally does. Hello summer.

250ml coconut milk
2 tsp Mayvers Australian Tahini
Handful natural coconut flakes
