Those daily Net-a-Porter emails in my inbox are both an amazing thing, and a very bad thing. Every piece is so perfect, but ridiculously expensive – the kind of items I would actually be saving my entire life for.
I don’t even remember the first time I saw one of Olympia Le Tan‘s old-timey clutch creations, but I know what I thought. It was along the lines of, “why the hell didn’t I think of this first”. And then I wanted to do it for myself. And then I realised that was virtually impossible.
If I didn’t suffer from the type of boredom that debilitated me and didn’t allow me to do ANYTHING, maybe I could. But unfortunately I do. That’s why I have to save up my millions forever instead.
