It’s time for some manspiration again. The last few days have been absolutely nuts with life going off in all ways – work is crazy, the wedding is on Sunday (probably more stressed than the bride) and sleep is little. So I decided to treat myself with some fashion.
Surprisingly no menswear show looks the same. Suits can come in as many forms as dresses apparently. Clearly I have quite a strange obsession with all things Mondrian-esque, and colour-blocked, because this Issey Miyake Spring 2014 show immediately caught my eye. Window pane prints, pixelated prints, colour everywhere. The collection seems to mould so many forms of dying into one – got your shibori, batik and tie-dyeish techniques coming out. Of course it could only be presented and pulled off at the Issey show.
