Am I the only person in Sydney, or anywhere really, who is over the brioche phase? I love my chur burger but I don’t love my bun. It’s like eating a cake with your meat – meat cake, even less natural than a meat loaf. Bring back the sourdough and grainy loaves.
I suppose my attitude to the dough is much like (basically) everyone else’s opinions of the super-cool hipster man. It seems the world is virtually over the lumberjack / lumbersexual, except for a select few, me included. The beard will never die in my eyes, and the ability to chop wood is ever important. So I think we should keep the trend alive, verging on dapper. Unfortunately I can’t make this happen, as I’m not a man, but hopefully these inspire some manly ways.
